The testosterone levels start to balance

Now that both Jordyn and Amy have boys in their lives,
there is a much more even balance of testosterone in the
house, and that doesn't seem to bother Tim at all.

Jeff and Jordyn have been seeing each other for a month
now, and as I joked earlier today, I should start
charging him room and board, he's here that much.
But I haven't seen Jordyn this happy, so that
makes me happy too. He's a good fit to her, he's
patient, kind and totally gets her OCD and doesn't
push her or stress about the routines that are
a part of her regular day.

Daniel has been away traveling Europe for the
last 10 months and although they are technically
not committed to each other, we all know that's
just a silly thing that hasn't been said out loud is all.
Having only been back home for two weeks, he
too is starting to be a regular around here and
I haven't seen Amy smile this much in a long time.

It seems to be that lately I am always asking who's
going to be here for dinner, or who's coming over tonight,
and do I need to make extra food or not...lol...not that I
mind at all, it's nice to see those extra pairs of large sized
shoes sitting at the door, because it means the boys that
care about my girls are here, and that makes me happy.

Project Life Week 4

This is the fourth week of Project Life, and I
am learning to not expect so much out of my
selection of photos or events that happen over
the week in question. I have come to realize
that like most of us, our lives are pretty routine,
pretty ordinary and that finding things to talk
about week after week so it doesn't get
repetitive may become challenging, so with
that being said, I will try to focus on the little
stories that make up the big story of our life.

For my left hand side, I once again used my
Photosheet program to put more then one photo
on a 4 x 6 picture, allowing me to tell one story
with more then one picture.

For the right hand side, it was hard to find pictures
for those vertical insert areas, so I have to remember
to take pictures both horizontally and vertically
when telling a story so that I have a choice when entering
them into my album.

Now I have done a good job this week documenting
all the little things that made up our week, and
although there may be a topic that might embarrass
one of my family, it's the part of our life that I may
enjoy reading about in 5 or 10 years, and that's
the whole point of this album right?

Here's the whole two sided spread for the week.

These boots

Yup, glad I got the girls rubber boots on Sunday, because
this week has been a snowy, slushy and now soggy mess
outside, and wet feet is just no fun. I got my pretty
flower ones (in middle of picture) in the summer, and
they did me great especially when geocaching in some
nasty weather, so as soon as the snow started
falling, I knew they needed them too.

Now Amy was totally content getting hers from Walmart,
the white and black ones, and although they aren't the most
comfortable to walk around in, she does appreciate dry feet.
Jordyn on the other hand had trouble finding ones that
fit her wide feet and didn't want them high, so she was
lucky and found a size at Aldo that fit, and wasn't out of
my price range. I am sure we will still get a bit more
use out of these rubber boots. But one thing I am happy
for is that they have come a long way in style since I
was a kid.... :)
