I'm almost too embarrassed to say this, but we have lived in our new basement suite since last October and I walk by this tree each and everytime I come and go. I only just realized this morning as I was leaving for work that it is a Cherry Blossom tree....funny when you consider that it's one of the things us BCer' associate with the coming of spring...yet I have missed it all along, until it started blooming, then the ahah light came on. Well, I guess spring is finally here.
