POTD #6

I did actually take a picture yesterday but forgot to post it, so it will be posted now along with today's potd :)


I spent some time yesterday printing out pictures and putting them into frames so I can do a photo collage of the girl's grad photos. When Jordyn graduates I will add ones of her in her grad dress.


And since adding a group of photos on the wall can be time consuming and required some thought process, the pictures are now grouped along the wall unit for now...lol :)

POTD #5

this picture is about dinner!!!! yep, dinner! the one thing I hate thinking about each and every day. You see, I'm really am a science kind of person, you know, formulas etc, and cooking doesn't do that...but baking does...I love baking, and if I had more time I would probably bake each and every day. But dinners, that's a completely different dilema. I hate the question, what's for dinner....and yet, there is one thing that makes this chore a bit less daunting...my crockpot. Tonight its a roast dinner, I put the frozen roast in at 10 this morning and by 6pm, dinner is cooked......

POTD #4

so today's picture is strange....yes, strange! But I had a long day at work, and felt extremely dusty and dirty and wanted nothing but to have a shower....and you know how it is...you get in, the water is hot and you just don't want to ever get out, the world kind of just evaporates for a little while and all your worries and cares too. And one of the best things about this new place is the awesome shower head in our bathroom, it's like standing under a rain cloud and it feels soooo good!!!!

okay so another day has come and thinking about my picture today was fun...I almost took a pic of the big apple outside of the Apple Store in Richmond Centre, but thought I would look like a fool taking it....lol...so I didn't....

Today's picture is about things that make me happy....my Cinnamon Dolce Frapp....if only it would refill itself so I wouldn't run out.... ;D

Missing Vegas!

I have been feeling the urge a lot lately, the urge to jump on a plane and get back to Vegas. But not for what most people who go to Vegas for, not the glam, the glitz or the gambling...no for me it's for the chance to see Andy and Mike again. Both Tim and I wish they lived closer to us, they are such amazing friends, the type that you can spend a year apart, yet fall into instant conversation like no time has passed. They are easily our dearest friends and miles that seperate us get lost when we are together for those few days in Vegas. Whether it's hanging out in a casino, going out for dinner, or getting a tour of the vast dessert, we always have fun, no matter what....the hardest part of our friendship has alway been saying goodbye...and knowing that it will be months, maybe even a year til we can see each other again...sure do miss those two.

POTD #2

well I seem to be off to a good start, today I actually had many options of what I wanted my picture of the day to be. I worked on bookkeeping most of the day, so there was option one, I did all the sheets and blankets, option two, we went for Jordyn's grad dress fitting, option three and so on. Today was one of those days where it could be anything...but here's what I decided would be the photo of the day.........





This is the vanity that used to be in Jordyn's room. Since I don't have a desk and she didn't have room for it, I have been using it in the kitchen, but it was very dirty and worn looking, so I painted it yesterday and now I have a nice little corner in the kitchen for the phone etc.

okay, since everyone seems to be doing it...lol..I figured I would give it a try for the month of March and see what I've captured by month's end, then I will do a LO of it. So today my picture is of my "new" Iphone...it's new to me, but Tim's handme down. I have finally left the world of "stupid" phones and entered the world of "smart" phones. Here's to hoping my learning curve can figure it all out before the iphone is obselete...hahaha!!!
